Browser-local · No upload queue · Free

Convert images and PDFs without leaving your tab

Convertissima gives you two free, private converters that run entirely in your browser. The image converter turns JPG, PNG, WebP, ICO, AVIF, GIF and SVG into each other — batch queue, quality slider, ICO multi-size. The PDF to Word converter handles text-based PDFs and scanned pages alike, exporting a ready-to-edit .docx without uploading a single byte.

Two free browser tools

No install, no account, no upload. Everything runs locally in your tab.

Image converter

JPG, PNG, WebP, ICO, GIF, SVG and AVIF. Set quality, resize by max width/height, keep or strip transparency, export ICO with multiple sizes. Batch queue, one download per file.

PDF to Word (.docx)

Works on all PDF types — text-based documents, scanned pages, forms, tables and charts. Three modes: Auto (best for most files), Text only, or Page images (every page rendered as JPEG). No OCR needed for visual fidelity.

Built for real workflows

Three principles we refuse to compromise on: privacy, clarity, and speed. No dashboards you do not need—just the job done.

Private by default

Decode and encode inside your browser session. We do not ingest your images into a backend queue, and there is no account wall between you and the tool.

Sharp, focused UI

Drop files or paste a URL, choose an output format, adjust quality or max dimensions when it matters, then convert. Progress stays visible so you always know what is happening.

Formats people actually ship

JPG and PNG for compatibility, WebP and AVIF when the browser allows, GIF for lightweight motion, ICO for icons, and SVG as a raster wrapper when you need a vector container without tracing artwork.

How it works

From first file to download in three deliberate steps. If a remote URL is blocked by CORS, save the asset locally and drop it in—your browser, not ours, enforces that boundary.

  1. Step 1 Bring your input

Drag and drop one or many images, use the file picker, or fetch from a URL when the host permits cross-origin reads.

  2. Step 2 Choose output and settings

Select the target format, dial in quality, cap width and height, set a background for opaque exports, and pick how ICO assets should fit inside the square.

  3. Step 3 Convert and download

Run the queue, watch the progress bar advance per file, then download each finished result. Large batches stay responsive because work is serialized on purpose.

Ready when you are

Both tools are live — no sign-up, no install. Convert images or turn any PDF into an editable Word file right now.
